Symptoms felt in the left neck and shoulder…

Because we don’t have eyes in the backs of our heads, it is impossible for us to know what our shoulder blades are doing when they are under load!

This patient sought our advise for pain in the left side of the neck and shoulder. After a thorough assessment, it was clear that the muscles that stabilise the left shoulder blade were not working as effectively as they should be and therefore putting pressure on the surrounding shoulder muscles instead!

Soft tissue work, retraining and strengthening was the treatment.  5 Sessions later the patient reported a 90% improvement in his symptoms and he was discharged to continue with a home programme to maintain all his good work!
