Lindsay Heys

Director - Physiotherapist

Lindsay gained a degree in Sport Science before she trained as a physiotherapist in 1998. After completing her Masters, she spent time in the NHS gaining valuable orthopedic experience and then moved to a private hospital setting specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Lindsay worked in a number of private clinics before setting up Banstead Physio & Therapies in 2004. She is pleased that it is now one of the leading clinics in the area and recommended by local GPs and Consultants that are looking for the best possible care for their patients.

Lindsay's main interest is within the manual therapy and sports injury field. She has competitive knowledge of gymnastics, netball, cricket and golf and has had years of experience as the travelling physiotherapist with rugby teams.

Nicky Langford

Nicky qualified from Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in 1993. She spent 6 years in the Midlands working in the NHS before moving to Croydon where she was instrumental in setting up a home scheme service for patients having had total knee and hip replacement surgery.

Nicky then focused on musculoskeletal physiotherapy as a senior in the NHS and the private sector for several years, before joining the Ryan Centre in Coulsdon, where she gained valuable experience treating patients with multiple Sclerosis.

Nicky specialises in pain management and orthopaedic musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Agata Majchrak

Agata graduated from the Medical University of Gdansk in Poland ,with a BSC Physiotherapy degree in 2003 and subsequently went on to complete her Masters degree in 2009.

Since graduating, Agata has continued to develop her manual therapy and massage skills in the out patient setting. She has spent over 10 years working in a busy private clinic in Kensington, which has given her valuable experience in management of variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Alongside this , Agata has worked within several NHS settings: mainly, trauma and elective orthopedics as well as general rehabilitation after injury and post acute hospital stays.

Agata has a passion in empowering, supporting and guiding people to achieve the finest outcomes of their recovery to live the best version of their lives.

Outside of Physiotherapy, Agata enjoys spending time with her young family.
She loves dancing and spending time in the outdoors which helps maintain her work/life balance.

Matthew Parkinson

Since then he has progressed into senior clinical teaching positions before moving into management of the Outpatient Physiotherapy service in Kingston.

Matt has an expert knowledge of the management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and his passion is supporting people to live the best lives they can achieve in their home and local community environment.

Outside of physiotherapy, Matt enjoys spending time with his young family and growing his new domiciliary home care business.

Tom graduated from the University of Essex in 2021 and has been working in the NHS in a variety of areas, including Out patient musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics Neurology and community. He is utilising all these skills to now focus on the private setting and has the time to fully assess and treat to gain the best results possible.

Tom has an holistic approach to assessment and treatment, empowering patients of all ages, skills and fitness to achieve their goals for daily function and physical performance.

Outside of Physiotherapy, Tom invests a lot of his time playing golf and going to the gym to practice what he preaches!

Helen Molloy

Helen completed her MSc in Rehabilitation Science in 2008 and specialised in Pelvic Health in 2012. She worked as a specialist Women’s Health physio at St Peter’s Hospital and Spire St Anthony’s and until recently she was the lead specialist Women’s Health Physio for Epsom and Leatherhead. She continues to work in Obstetrics at Epsom Hospital.

As a Woman’s Health physiotherapist, Helen treats women suffering from bladder and bowel continence issues, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain including vulvodynia, vaginismus and painful bladder syndrome. She also treats abdominal muscle separation (diastasis) which can occur after having a baby.

She is passionate about helping women deal with problems related to pregnancy and the postpartum recover and so she works as a MUMMY MOT practitioner.

In her spare time, Helen enjoys swimming, yoga and walking as well as looking after two energetic boys. She is also attempting to learn Portuguese!

Sarah Ellis

Sarah initially worked in the MarComms industry having studied Business with a Marketing specialism and worked for a number of leading London based Marketing Agencies at senior/board level before changing career.  Having always been actively involved in health, fitness and competitive sport she retrained as a Sports Rehabilitator graduating in 2004 with a first class honours degree from St Mary’s College University London.

Sarah's main interest lies in musculoskeletal therapy majoring in sport rehabilitation, assessing and managing injury from initial incident to full recovery, designing and working in early, mid and advanced rehabilitation and training programmes.  Sarah worked in a number of private clinics, health clubs and with professional sports teams, she is holistic in her approach in prevention or recovery from injury, whether its a work related task, playing sport for fun or competing at high level competition. She is delighted to be part of the Banstead Physio & Therapies team. 

Outside of work, Sarah has a busy family life, alongside playing golf, running and practices yoga.

Katey Lyons

Katey trained at St Mary’s University, studying ITEC level 3 diploma in body massage and qualifed in August 2020. Having excelled at this, she went on to study sports massage, qualifying ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy in July 2021.

Katey is a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists). And has recently qualified in myofascial cupping which she is keen to develop more in the clinic as results have been so positive.

Katey’s interest in sports massage stems from years of being a runner. She has run three marathons ; Berlin, Brighton and finally winning a ballot place to run The London Marathon in 2014. Katey has also run numerous half marathons and one triathlon.

When not working, Katey has weekly strength training sessions and loves walking her dog. She has a strong understanding of how daily life and sport can put stress on the human body both physically and mentally, and therefore the benefits of regular massage.

Eloise is a Level 3 sports masseur as well as a Level 3 Personal Trainer. She has been involved in a mixture of sports throughout her life, including netball, rock climbing, tag rugby and athletics. Her main focus has been on training 5-6 days a week as a 400 metre sprinter, so she has a wide understanding of how the body works to perform.to its best ability.

She loves to use her experiences of these various sports to help her clients with rehabilitation, improvement of sporting performance, injury prevention and generally feeling a little more comfortable in everyday life activities.
