Lindsay Harris (Director)

 

Qualifications:              

MSc Rehabilitation Science

Bsc Sports Science

Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Health Professionals Council and Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists

 

Lindsay trained in Glasgow and has specialised in out patient therapy since she qualified in 1998. Her main interest lies in sports injuries and she is physiotherapist for rugby, gymnastics and golf teams in the local area.

Clare Bussell

 

Qualifications:      

Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy         

 

Clare qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1986 and has 10 years private sector experience.  Clare specialises in ‘Pilates’ and is a qualified Pilates Instructor and registered with the APPI. Pilates is a form of exercise that predominately aids posture and is ideal for patients that have to live with chronic back pain and have often tried manual therapies with little success

 

 

Sam Bowden

 

Qualifications   

BSc Physiotherapy

MSc Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

Member of the Health Professions Council

MMACP Member of Manipulation Association of Physiotherapists

 

Sam qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire in 1999 and has subsequently gained a MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy.  Sam specialised in Sports injuries and manipulation. He is a keen sportsman and is currently working closely with the golf team

Hugh Harris

 

Qualifications:              

ITEC Diploma Sports Massage, Holistic Massage

 

Hugh specialises in Sports Massage and has worked closely with a local football team. Hugh has previously been in the armed forces and also works at St. Helier Hospital.  He is a keen runner himself and has run marathons and as such appreciates the benefits of maintenance massage!

 

 

Annie Summun

 

Qualification:                   

Diploma Shiatsu Practitioner

Member of Shiatsu Society

 

Annie qualified four years ago at the London College of Shiatsu.  Previously she has worked in accounts, management and marketing and now works as a therapist locally helping clients suffering from a wide variety of ailments.  Annie is a caring, intuitive and experienced therapist.

 

Val Andrews

 

Qualifications:              

ITEC Diploma: Sports Massage, Holistic Massage

 

Val trained at the Sutton College of Learning for Adults.  As well as her work as a therapist Val works for the South London Guardian Newspaper group as an Editorial Assistant.  She is also an international badminton umpire and has umpired 10 All England Finals.

 

 

Becky Chorlton

 

Qualifications:              

MAR Reflexology

ITEC Diploma Anatomy, Physiology & Massage

 

Becky trained at the ‘School of Natural therapies’ at Kingston Hospital and has 6 years experience specialising in reflexology, a complimentary therapy which can tackle stubborn problems that conventional therapy sometimes doesn’t help. She is also practices Therapeutic Massage.

Helen Jupp

 

Qualifications:

ITEC Diploma: Aromatherapy

ITEC Diploma: Holistic Massage

IIHHT: Indian Head Massage

 

Helen trained at Kingston and Nescot College and specialises in Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage. Aromatherapy is a form of massage that uses a blend of natural based oils to aid physical and systemic conditions. Her Indian Head Massage is guaranteed to de-stress and relax the most tense of us!
